The Garden Area

Ashridge Court Residential Care Home, located in Bexhill-on-Sea, East Sussex has two acres of carefully landscaped gardens together with a lake, which has been added for the enjoyment of our residents. The gardens benefit from stunning views across Pevensey marshes and many residents enjoy relaxing in the grounds whilst enjoying the wildlife. Visitors to the garden include many species of butterfly, rabbit, foxes and badgers. Many species of fish reside in the waters from Koi Carp to fresh water varieties. There are also nesting kestrels in the nearby pine trees.

Due to the size of the grounds, small pets are welcomed. A non-slip walk path has recently been created to allow residents and vistors to walk the entire permimeter of the gardens should they wish. Naturally if our residents are unsteady on their feet one of our members of staff is always delighted to accompany them with a mobility aid.

The peaceful gardens at Ashridge Courts are private with sensitively planned wheelchair access. An attractive patio area overlooks the landscaped gardens and is the perfect spot for reading a good book or relaxing with friends and a cup of tea. Rooms are available with French doors that open out into attractive garden area.
